Mint White Hot Chocolate
2 cups milk
2 cups half & half cream 8 oz. white chocolate, chopped 1 tsp. peppermint extract a few drops of green food coloring (optional for holidays) marshmallows (optional) In a heavy- bottomed pot, heat the milk and cream over medium heat for 5 minutes. Stir in the white chocolate, remove from heat and set aside for a few minutes. Add the peppermint extract and food coloring (where applicable) and whisk until smooth. Serve immediately. Serves 4. |
